Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A lot of research has been done recently on the importance of student movement and brain breaks. It has been shown to increase learning, understanding, and social-emotional growth. As a teacher, I am always looking for ways to get my students out of the traditional rows and chairs. I need them to get up and get moving throughout the day. This project is designed to have flexible options for classroom configuration.
This flexible organization offers students the opportunity to move while they learn.
These bookshelves can be easily moved around the classroom to allow students to not only change how they are organized but also bring resources, such as books, to them. Help my classroom become a designable space to allow children to move.
