My students need several books to complete some of the book series in our school library. We have many students who love to read series and we want to support them!

My Students
In our middle/high school we have many, many readers. We want to encourage them to read everyday. By providing our students will quality books we will support them in their education. The more they read, the better they will do in school!
There are approximately 300 hundred students.
We have amazing readers in our school. When a vacation is coming up I have a good number of students who will grab 4 or 5 books to read during the vacation. We still have many students who love to read from a book and they will tell you that. Students continuously visit the library and ask if we have any new books. At this time I have to say no. Our budget is frozen and I have no funds to purchase books. Last school year I was afforded $300.00 to purchase books. My students are hoping that Donors Choose can help us to get the books that they want to read. They and I would be very grateful if we can get the books on our list.
My Project
Our middle/high school students love to read the latest book series! They are always asking me to get the next book in a series. Or asking me when the next book in a series is coming out. Even telling me when the next book in a series is coming out! If I can keep my students reading by providing them with books they really like then they will hopefully become life-long readers! Series are a great way to keep students interested and help students to read more than one book in a school year!
have you ever waited to see the sequel to your favorite movie? Well that is what if feels like to wait to read a sequel to a book! It gets even better when there are more than two books in a book series! Students wait months to be able to read the second, third, forth and so on in a book series.
Have you ever waited for the sequel of you favorite movie to come out?
That is how my students feel when they are waiting for a book sequel to be published. They come to the library and ask me when the book will be published, or when we will get the latest book in a sequel. They have even informed me as to when the sequel will be published! We are helping our students to be readers which will help them in all subjects in school. They will be life-long readers!!
