Book Rewards for Students (Virtual)

My Students

Our school is home to a lot of diverse students with diverse needs. Despite their various needs, however, our students at our middle school have a lot to offer. They are passionate, thoughtful, caring individuals, and sometimes their areas of interest do not always align with the traditional norms and topics addressed in the average classroom.

Many of our students need a little extra support and help to become successful learners, but our teachers are dedicated to giving them that help and support.

My Project

These gift cards will be used as incentives and motivators for some of our low readers. After reaching certain benchmarks, they will be able to pick out a book from the online inventory.

While we would love to help our students develop some intrinsic motivation, the reality is that after years of struggling with reading, our readers sometimes just need some fun.

Students get so excited when they get the chance to own something they love, and this is a great way to combat long-term reading difficulty. If we can get students excited about books, we can change their lives.
