My Project

I work with students with reading difficulty and disability. After struggling with reading for such a long time, students often become highly disengaged with reading, and very discouraged. It can be really hard to get them engaged with any type of reading.

It can be incredibly motivating for students to get to choose their own books, especially if they get to keep the book!

These gift cards will be awarded to students who have worked to improve their reading. Giving the students the chance to pick out their own book (ordered from a local bookstore) can be a great way of engaging them better in their reading class.
