My Project

I am the librarian in an all boys STEM academy that primarily serves African American males. Our building was built in 1932 and while we have lots of amazing books—we do not have book ends to keep books upright or book repair materials to fix ripped pages or damaged spines.

This project helps us get basic library materials and keep our books in good repair and last longer for boys to continue checking out.

It also makes it easier to shelve books and keep them functional as well as display books to help bring books to the scholars attention.
