My Students

Connection is the most important part of my classroom. Whether that’s connecting to each other, connecting to learning, or connecting with the materials, we are lucky enough to have.

I think students learn best by doing.

I want to create a classroom where students can be hands-on and learn from being involved in learning. Please help my young learners reach their potential by donating!

I work in a diverse school in Indianapolis. We have a wonderfully diverse population with a large number of our students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. I work in a wonderful district, but often the extras that make a classroom wonderful come down to the teachers purchasing themselves. Any help is appreciated in making my students 1st grade experience as special as possible.

My Project

Please help me give my learners something to look forward to as we journey back to school next month.

I want to do something special for my group of students that are coming back into the classroom after months of being quarantined and socially-distanced.

I have learned, even online, that I have a class who loves to read. Across the board they love Pete the Cat and Piggie and Elephant. I want to add new books to our library just for them. These will be added to our theme tubs that we have in our room and offer students TONS of variety while choosing books!
