This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are now officially a month into our new school year. My students come with such a variety of voracious personalities, but they also come into my room with a range of reading levels & abilities. The majority of my students I teach are multilingual students, many who don't speak English, and I would love to be able to provide them with books to read that strengthens those reading and writing skills. They've already made requests about the books they want to read (lots of graphic novels, books on romance, sports/murder mystery, etc.) and I cannot wait to fill my bookshelves with books that they specifically requested!
