Currently I am trying to teach my students what it is like to be in a book club. There is one problem, we do not have enough books for the book clubs. I have gone through three series of books, but I still do not have enough to go around. There are 24 students in the class and I need sets of five to six of the same book. The students are excited and interesting in having conversations about books and working in clubs, yet they know the resources are limited. My third grade class would greatly appreciate if you could help fund different sets of books, for instance: Magic Tree House Books, Junie B. Jones, Arthur Books, Nate the Great, Patricia Reilly Giff, Jim Benton, Dan Gutman, Karen Hesse, Beverly Cleary, Judy Blume, and so many others. If we had more books we would be able to learn and grow as readers. Thank you for your time.
