My Project

Keeping middle school students interested in independent reading is a full time job! Students have so many things tugging at their free time that reading can often take a backseat to other endeavors, such as playing video games or hanging out with friends. That is why it is important to have books on topics that interest them.

A print rich classroom needs a variety of titles and familiar authors that make students want to read.

My goal is to create a class library that students will find appealing, no matter what reading level they are.
