This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students all participated in a blind book tasting and chose the books that fit their individual interests.
They’re excited to get the books, read in their little groups, and discuss the literature.
Reading is SO fun! I’m excited to offer a book club and get some interest in reading. This is in an effort to increase the love of reading and in turn reading scores. This will also help garner a group of students who have other like-minded students to talk to about more than just books. Our book club is new and will forever be family.
