This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year, my class reads several chapter books together. Having a fun book in common creates opportunities for the kids to talk, share, and express their opinions. However, over the years, some of these well-loved books have been damaged or lost and need to be replaced.

Having class sets of books where every child has their own copy makes reading so much easier.

In the past, I've have students share books or I've checked out multiple copies from the public library. I would appreciate the opportunity to streamline these reading sessions and get the kids reading as quickly as possible.
