Book Buddies: Journey Through Pages Together

Help me give my students books, materials for comfortable reading space like carpet and pillows, book bins, reading logs and journals, reading rewards and posters to establish a well equipped reading corner in our classroom.

My Project

Description: Pairs second-grade students with peers or older students to read together, promoting literacy and mentorship. Establishing a well-equipped reading corner in the classroom can significantly enhance students' learning experiences and support their social-emotional development.

Academic Benefits: Improves reading fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary.

Social-Emotional Benefits: Builds relationships, empathy, and communication skills.
