This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students are here daily learning and working hard. We use tables in my classroom instead of desks. This allows for us to move more through the classroom. It also helps them work on their organizational skills. One area where it can sometimes present a challenge is where their materials like notebooks and textbooks go. Currently, students have been using cardboard magazine holders that I purchased; however, 4 months into school, they are quite worn out and not very sturdy. This project will give them each a plastic book box that will be a lot more durable and I will be able to use them for future classes as well!
