This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our middle school focus is LITERACY TODAY and by improving our students' reading skills, providing daily reading time both at school and home, promoting lifelong learning goals, and ensuring that all of our students have equal access to books of many genres, our learners will reach their greatest potential.

By collecting more current titles and a wider variety of non-fiction, fiction, biographies and How To books, our students will be able to prepare themselves for higher level critical thinking skills for their future endeavors.

Our goal is for every student to be reading at or above grade level by June 2026. Our literacy project can happen with the generosity of our donors by providing more current titles and creating more choices to our school library.
