My Students

I have twenty-two students from various backgrounds, home dynamics, and economic statuses. Some of my students have home support while others require teacher-guided instruction to support home learning. My students' academic abilities range from advanced above-grade level students, special needs students, and students with modifications for learning.

I set high expectations for all of my students and love seeing them rise to meet or exceed those expectations!

My students are motivated and share my love for learning. My job is so much fun when my 1st graders love school!

My Project

These books will be used in the classroom and at home! A Book Blitz event will get everyone reading the same text with varying amounts of support, based on needs. Projects in the classroom will be connected to story conflict, setting, and characters. Conversations at home will be enriched by a shared literacy experience.

Through these books, we will not only enrich minds, but we will cultivate quality family moments.

These classic stories will encourage special family moments and produce academic growth. Students' vocabulary, comprehension, and literary knowledge will be developed while they create fond memories with siblings, parents, and friends.
