This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a wonderful group of inquisitive first graders who are excited about books and reading. We just got a large number of brand new books to expand our classroom library. The problem is, we don't have enough book bins to organize all the wonderful new titles. So, the books are still in the boxes they were delivered in, and the students are digging trough them during our reading time.

The books bins will provide me with the means to organize the books so my students can easily look for and find books that will engage and inspire them.

I can't wait to have our classroom library organized.
