Book Bins for Future Leaders

Help me give my students inviting but durable book bins to hold their books in order to build self-reliant readers.

My Project

The organized classroom library bin storage system will allow students to "shop" or choose books on their "just right" level, or have an interest in an author or topic in our classroom. Students will then take responsibility for gathering and returning their selected books in the book bins once finished reading. During reading time, selected assignments, or even during their free time, students will be able to access their book bin and read independently in a quiet spot in our classroom.

This project will organize appropriate books for each child so they can continue to blossom a love for reading.

I look forward to seeing my students continue to make great leaps in fluency and comprehension as a result of having their own book bins. My class will be thrilled to have an individualized book bin for every student!
