We are a classroom of amazing 3rd grade students in Des Moines, Iowa. We set high expectations each and every day, and work hard to achieve them. As a teacher, I work hard to challenge them each day through authentic learning experiences. The kids take ownership and responsibility for all aspects of our classroom. We strive to be calm, balanced, and focused in all we do.
Ours is a Turnaroud Arts school, which means we teach all subjects through the arts.
My students come from a variety of backgrounds, so this is a great way to reach everyone and provide multiple opportunities for learning.
These book bins will help students organize their materials for learning. They will be able to more quickly find the things that they need to keep moving forward.
Our days can be hectic, so this is a small thing that can make a big difference.
They will help students learn organizational skills and how to properly care for materials.
I would like for each student to have their own book bin. They will hold the materials that are used frequently such as books, white boards, markers, and clip boards. They will also help to save space in their desks, which will help them stay organized.
