My Students

I teach K-1st grade in a self-contained class for students with social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities. I love that my students are working very hard to manage their behavior and social skills.

My students are wonderful, smart, and very loving.

They have good days and bad days, but once redirected, they are ready and eager to learn. They absolutely love hands-on, active, and engaging projects. As a special education teacher, I love seeing the face of a child when they learn something new. My students are truly one-of-a-kind!

My Project

These individual book bins will give my students their own space to keep books, notebooks, and their own Post-its for reading and writing. The colors are bright and cheerful to enhance our learning environment. They are sturdy book bins that will be able to be used for years to come. My students will be able to keep their things away from others and feel confident that they can read their books worry-free and safely. The library book bins will be used in our classroom library to store all our wonderful books.
