My Project

I teach a group of wonderful, enthusiastic learners who range from 2nd to 5th grade and have various abilities. They have all made significant progress towards their goals this year and a large part of that is due to the hands-on material we use to lead their instruction. The last project I funded was for adapted books from Teachers Pay Teachers. Since then, my class has enjoyed the various adapted books we now have available. Currently, we are using binder rings to attach the books together, which makes them look more like flashcards than books.

I am requesting a binding machine to be able to bind our adapted books and elevate my students' reading experience.

Along with binding the adapted books, I will also use the machine to bind my students' writing pieces, which will increase their writing engagement and give them ownership over their work.

I am also asking for laminating sheets and Velcro dots, which we use every time we print off and assemble a new adapted book.
