My Project
My class loves reading. They are becoming more independent as readers each day, and their growth has been incredible. One area of our classroom is hindering their independence with reading. I used to teach older students, but now that I teach younger students, the books are difficult to reach for many of my learners! Our current second-grade library books are difficult to access in our classroom.
I am looking to reorganize and rearrange my classroom library to make it easier for all kids to browse and select books.
My students currently have to ask for support and help to access all of the texts on our reading bookshelves. We are in need of new baskets for our reading books. These new baskets would fit nicely on our shorter bookshelves and allow students more independence as they work hard to build their reading stamina and growth. Thank you for considering this request!
