Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 5th grade general education and diverse learner students need multisensory ways to practice their problem solving skills. Boogie Boards take the mess out of solving math equations along with replacing archaic whiteboards. Using Boogie Board will give my students a break from the traditional whiteboard and/or paper and pencil while allowing them an alternative way to express their thinking and understanding. It will not only save unnecessary waste of paper but also help to alleviate the shadows on whiteboards.

Boogie Boards are a fun way for students to participate and collaborate around mathematics and problem solving.

They are easy to write on, clear with a push of a button, leave no residue, and the batteries last for years. Whether my students work individually or in partners, their engagement level will surely increase.
