Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember writing with a pencil and paper all the time when you were in school? It would be so much more fun to be writing on a Boogie Board instead of a piece of paper.
My school is a small, Title I school where a lot of my students qualify for the reduced price or free lunch program.
Many students come from diverse cultural backgrounds. There are 16 different languages spoken at my school. Most are English language learners, speaking English as their second language. My Kindergarten students come to school daily eager to learn.
My Project
Students would use these Boogie Boards to practice letters, sight words, numbers, and more! My students will be excited to be learning! I would use them in my guided reading group time and also during literacy and math center time. I can see my students eagerly using these eWriters to help them learn. These will also save copying and wasting a lot of paper daily!
I like to make learning more fun and engaging.
These Boogie Boards will definitely add more excitement in my classroom. Please consider making a donation to my project. These materials will be well used by many students for many years!
