Boogie Boarding to Success!

Help me give my students Boogie Boards to individually work on to show Math calculations, as well as other responses during directed lessons.

My Students

I teach fifth grade at a suburban school in Florida. My students come from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. They are a diverse and unique bunch. Each day, we strive to do the very best we can. We are a Title One school and the majority of our students qualify for free or reduced price lunch.

My classroom is a place where my students learn that they are able to change the world through the choices and decisions they make in their lives.

Many of my students come from low income homes, and this can negatively affect their ability to learn successfully. My students come to school wanting to learn and with a positive attitude about school no matter what is going on in their lives. They are hard workers who want to do good things with their lives, and they know it starts here in the classroom.

My Project

These Boogie Boards will get my students excited to show their success in solving Math problems. Students will easily be able to display their work on their boards and celebrate their successes during directed instruction of all subjects.

These boards will save money and resources because there is no need for dry erase markers.

No more searching for a dry erase marker that works. We will save on paper towels, as my students use these to erase their work on whiteboards.

My students will be so excited to see that they can easily move from problem to problem. The pen magically writes on the board and then with the push of a button the board is cleared to start another problem.
