My Project

These boogie boards will assist my classroom in running efficiently when transitioning between activities and increase engagement during lessons. The pencils that come with these specific boogie boards resemble actual pencils that will assist in my primary students learning how to correctly hold a pencil while learning and practicing on correct letter/number formation.

Students will use these Boogie Boards to cooperate with others, practice their skills, and display their knowledge.

One of the allowed programs for Tier 3 instruction under the Alaska Reads Act switches between materials often. These boards will help me structure the classroom for smooth and efficient transitions between the different materials quickly so we can get the most out of our time together.

For other subjects, these boards will be used to replace dry/erase boards and unnecessary paper use. Some ways the students will use these boards are: during cooperative learning structures with their teams, for review/exit tickets on learning outcomes, practice with content, and support while doing their work on other pages (such as the work for math problems or figuring out how to spell a word while writing).

The two Blackboard SMART Boogie Boards will be used by the adults in the classroom to help facilitate, teach, and model a variety of lessons.
