Bodies in Motion

Help me give my students the option of flexible seating while visiting our school's STEM lab. Motion stools will allow them the comfort and option to sit or stand.

My Students

We are an elementary school with over 700 students. Our students range from grades K to 5 with various needs and interests. We offer a traditional curriculum full of wonder, exploration, and inquiry.

Our students come to school every day excited about learning.

This is due to positive, innovative, and forward-thinking mindset of our teachers which is passed on to our students. Our students are offered a multitude of programs such as STEM club, Art Club, and Yearbook Club to fit the needs of all students.

My Project

Motion Stools will allow flexibility in our school STEM lab. Students will feel empowered to have a choice in their environment and whether to sit or stand. Flexible seating allows students to move their seating location and position as they choose, while keeping them engaged in activities.

A flexible learning environment has a direct impact on students' learning and achievement.

Flexible seating encourages students to find a place that they will feel calm, focused, and productive while encouraging community, communication and collaboration.

Motion stools will be a huge benefit to the students in my school who visit the STEM lab.
