My Students

Our classroom is an active and happening place.

We love to move and explore.

Our mission is to become lifelong learners. My students are four and five years old, and they are just beginning to explore the world they live in. Many of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

Many of our students face a lot of adversity in their lives, but they still come to school each day, ready to work hard! To them, school is a place where they feel safe, loved, and valued. Motivating my students to read and learn is crucial, particularly with the higher demands of the new standards.

My Project

In Pre-K all learning is hands on and done through different activities! The materials in this project will help students continue to develop and strengthen their fine motor muscles through different hands on activities in class. Building fine motor muscles is critical in Pre-K because students are learning to write numbers, letters, their name, words, etc. without strong fine motor muscles students struggle to write anything.

Helping support student's fine motor development will leave a lasting impression on their education.

As they continue to learn, having fine motor strength and the ability to write will allow students to learn and express their ideas more easily.
