This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a 6th-grade class that is made up of an energetic group of students. My students are from a high-poverty area. They are a group of widely diversified learners who are eager to learn the new material for second grade. They really need a head start coming off of the pandemic.
The children love the Bob decodable books.
They give them beginning practice reading, while the books are fun and enjoyable for them. They enjoy reading and recording themselves on the computer. These books give excellent practice and reading fluency practice for the novice reader. They also enjoy reading them to family members and friends.
