Board Games in Math Class

Help me give my students Quirkle, Prime Climb and other board games to play in math class! Post-pandemic, many students need to rebuild their social skills with peers--games are a great way to do that!

My Project

I teach middle school students in the mathematics classroom. After being apart or virtual for the last few years, my 12 and 13-year old students are working on rebuilding social skills with their peers and teachers. The use of board games and play in the classroom is a great way to have students practice these much needed skills.

Each week students and I get to know each other by playing board games in groups of 5 - 6 students.

We are in need of a board game refresh! I can't wait to play these games in my classroom.
