Board Games for the Bilingual: Spanish Class Needs Board Games

Help me give my students Spanish board games to develop listening and speaking skills.

My Project

I love board games, and I love playing board games in different languages. Not being a native Spanish speaker, I had a lot of work cut out for me when I first began learning Spanish in high school and college. Looking back, I grew most not from grammar exercises, but immersive moments like playing Scrabble or UNO in Spanish.

I want to offer these immersive moments to my students as well.

Board games present an enjoyable challenge for students to acquire their second language.

By supporting this project, you would provide my students with Spanish games that offer a rich and fun experience. The TPT gift card will allow me to buy plans for different Spanish games. Students can play Snakes & Ladders and KLOO, both conversation games designed to help students develop speaking and listening skills.
