Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Rosemary Elementary is a Title 1 school and for the past few years, I have seen many students grow and love the library. In 2025-2026 school year, our Transitional Kindergarten age will be lowered to age 3. We have replaced many damaged books with slime, ripped pages, colored with crayons and markers, and more.

Help us tear down the wall of language barriers.

Our library is in need of board books for students entering in transitional kindergarten, learning how to read and understand English and Spanish languages. We want them to understand the importance of continuing to know their native tongue but learn English as well.

Not only will these books help them thrive in learning how to read and speak in both English and Spanish, but it will help them continue their want for more books later on in their school years.
