My Project

I work with an amazing group of three, four, and five year olds. All of my students are excited to be at school, want to learn, explore, and create new things on a daily basis. They come into our room needing extra love or support, and thrive off of structure, routine, and having materials that can hold up to being used by many sets of little hands.

After our meal time each day, students have the chance to explore books.

They have the chance to have books read aloud to them, look through their pages, read with peers, and get excited over their favorite stories again and again. Just like with all kids this age, our classroom has those few books that are very well loved, and have therefore worn down quicker than most. We also have books that have been subject to BIG toddler emotions, and therefore have needed to be repaired many many times.

Our little classroom library is in need of a refresh in a big way. I would love to be able to end this year and start next year with a brand new set of books all geared towards my kids that they can get excited about and want to dive into.
