This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books will give our campus a great start to our Bluebonnet reading club. We read 20 books that were awarded the Texas Bluebonnet award, then compete and test our comprehension knowledge not only within our district but city-wide as well! This past year, we made it to the city competition. Our book club has students dedicated to gaining fluency and comprehension skills. We are a group mixed with students in grades 3-5. We can not wait to get first place in next year's competition. Your help will get us there!!
