Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My first graders are so amazing and they are always ready for a challenge. What makes my students so unique is that they are fearless, creative, and enthusiastic about learning. They love to read and enjoy exploring the world. They also enjoy writing their own personal narratives.
My Project
All of our students have risen to the occasion during the pandemic and worked hard during remote learning. As we start the new school year with in-person blended learning we will need social distancing essentials to make our learning safe and fun. We have to social distance and we won’t be able to work in close partnerships. By using whiteboards during math workshops, I will be able to see students' answers and assess their knowledge. By using individualized book baggies and other organizers, students will be able to safely transport their books from home to school.
