Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are preparing our students for careers in the medical profession. Taking height, weight, vision, pupil reaction, pulse and blood pressure are basic skills that quickly translate into an intern or tech job. My students need experience with the tools now so when they begin working in the medical field they are ready to go.

We need blood pressure cuffs for hands on experience.

Our students will learn the skills and then help take blood pressure and pulse on Athletic Physicals Day. On this day students will get to take and record close to 200 blood pressure readings.

Without these handy tools our students will miss the chance to practice their skills. Thank you for choosing to support our classroom and students.
