This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a teacher working in a Title I and Title 3 school (low-income/high poverty), in Corona, I know that my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite their challenges, I am trying to keep my students engaged and trying to instill a love of learning, within them, and give them access to technology at home.
I work in an ICT setting, which consists of 60% general education students and 40% special education students, that truly benefit from all that is offered to them.
Despite all of the challenges my students face, they continue to strive for the best, with the tools that they are provided with.
My Project
The use of a laminator will help me create durable resources for my students to use in the classroom and home. This school year will be like no other. I want to be able support my students and provide school and home transparency. It's so important for students to have access to the same tools in school and at home, in order to succeed; especially when students in my class will be engaged in a Blended Learning Model (combination of in-person and online learning).
