Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Science is everything! Since the pandemic I see that students are struggling after missing a year or two of school. Many students I work with didn't attend school during the pandemic even if it was offered online because of challenges at home.
Building rockets is one way to get students excited about science and math.
When we build and fly these rockets we will be showing our students how math and science are connected and fun. The life skills of working together, cooperation and persistence will be practiced. Fly high Cougars.
