Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work as a behavior interventionist specialist and support students earning time with high engaging science activities for social emotional awareness with peers. These incentive times are earned through work completion and by following the guidelines of their behavior plans.

As a tier 3 intervention of MTSS Store (Multi-tiered System of Support) for our school, we also need prizes and trinkets that can be used as incentives for students.

Students are awarded Hawk Feathers for following our 4 school-wide expectations of being Kind, Safe, Respectful, and Responsible. They can then take their digital feathers and either by a prize or purchase an experience. This Hawk Store highly incentivizes all students in our school and it is critical that we continue to provide this school wide support.
