This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach at a Title 1 school and have the sweetest kindest students. Some of our students just do not have families who have the means to just go out and buy new blankets when they are needed. I want to purchase dino and bear blankets for students to take home and keep. These blankets would help my students warm up and feel loved over the holiday break.
Knowing a child is home and doesn't have a nice warm fuzzy blanket is one of the worst feelings ever.
It breaks my heart to think some of our students may be at home and have not gotten a new blanket in a very long time. Please help me fund this project so all of our students can have new blankets to take home over the holidays.
