Help me give my students a fantastic beginning to their 5th Grade school year! As a first year teacher, I want to give my students an experience they can feel appreciated, organized, and ready to learn. Thank you!

My Project

As a first year teacher, I am so excited to begin this journey of shaping young minds and creating a space where all of my students feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. However, starting from scratch also means that I am beginning with an empty classroom and I need your help to turn it into a vibrant and functional learning environment!

My students deserve a classroom filled with tools and materials that support creativity, collaboration, and comfort.

With your support, I hope to provide essential supplies such as organizational bins, privacy shields for testing, pencil sharpeners, and other materials needed to successful organize and structure my classroom. These supplies will also help support students in small group work lessons and activities in Language Arts and Math.

These items may seem simple, but they play a huge role in helping students stay organized, express themselves, and engage with lessons in meaningful ways. It is important that students feel like they are at home in my classroom. Research shows that building a classroom community that students feel safe in and a part of leads to students’ willingness to take chances and be more open to learning. Your donation will directly impact my ability to build a welcoming, well equipped space that nurtures curiosity and confidence from day one and continues to be used for future classroom.
