This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is the first part of a series of book projects for next year's class. This project gives students' materials to growing authors and illustrators as well as gives them pencils. These blank booklets will be used for students to develop stories and illustrations as they begin to write their own books.
It is inspired by this year's class who is heavily motivated to write their own stories as it is apart of our curriculum.
Gifting students blank books and pencils promotes illustrations and writing. In my classroom it is important for students to have options and outlets to communicate and begin exploring the "art of thinking and writing" like illustrators and authors.
