Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are more than where they come from or where they live. My students have more potential than I ever imagined my classroom would have.
They are dreamers, they are team players, they are hard-working, and more than any of those, they are inspiring.
Many of my students have hardworking parents who work late and many siblings to take care of before they even start to think about taking care of themselves. They are talented and motivated but just need a little more support to reach their full potential.
My Project
These materials are needed desperately to help our teachers have a working printer. Right now the printer will barely print as it needs new black ink.
We had a printer donated but the ink has run out and we are told there are no funds to purchase new ink.
With ink being over $100 it is very difficult during this time to have teachers use their own money to purchase the ink.
This would greatly help out every teacher at our school print worksheets, rewards, paperwork, pictures, and much more!
