My Project

As a passionate educator, I am excited to enhance my classroom's learning environment by celebrating Black History Month with my 1st graders. This project aims to foster diversity and inclusion by teaching my students about the significant contributions of African Americans throughout history.

I am requesting your support to help me acquire a selection of books that celebrate African American achievements.

These books will provide my young learners with engaging stories and inspiring figures to look up to. Additionally, I would like to include educational posters that highlight important inventions made by African Americans, helping to inspire creativity and curiosity in my students.

To further immerse my classroom in the spirit of Black History Month, I will also use the funds to purchase decorations that reflect the beauty and richness of Black culture. This vibrant atmosphere will encourage discussions and deeper understanding among my students, allowing them to appreciate diversity in our community.

Thank you for considering a donation to this project. Your generosity will make a meaningful impact on my students' education, fostering a sense of pride and understanding of the importance of celebrating Black history and culture.

Together, we can inspire the next generation to embrace diversity and inclusion!
