Black Chef Cookbooks for a Taste of Tradition!

Help me give my students a variety of cookbooks by popular Black chefs!

My Project

My students love browsing and checking out my cookbooks. Right now, I have TWO. Two, for 830 students!

All of these cookbooks are by popular Black chefs, which is terrific for my 96% Black student body.

We have some students who have moved to Chicago from Nigeria and other West African countries, and two of these cookbooks celebrate West African cuisine! I know students will enjoy browsing the color photographs and current, updated books to check out and use for cooking at home. Help me bring a fantastic cookbook section to our library.
