This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kids can’t learn when they’re hungry. Whether they missed breakfast, are growing like crazy, or just need a little boost to stay focused, snacks in the classroom make a huge difference. I have students who come after breakfast is over and can't concentrate because they are hungry. Our lunch period isn't until 12:20 pm, so that's a long time for them to go without eating.

Having snacks on hand means students can stay energized, concentrate better, and feel cared for throughout the day.

It’s not just about food—it’s about making sure every child feels supported, seen, and ready to learn.
