This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come to school happy and excited to learn everyday. For my students their birthdays is a big deal and a special day. Many of them don’t get to celebrate their birthday in a special way at home so I want to be able to celebrate them in my classroom and have them feel like the special kids they are. I want to give every student a pencil, a pen to motivate them to live writing, a book buddy to read every night even if an adult is not available and a toy so they can remember to always have fun. This small gift will build our classroom community and make all of them feel like they are part of our classroom family.
