My Project

Every year I send each student a hand-drawn birthday card in the mail. Not only through the school year, but also over breaks and summer.

The students love a surprise birthday greeting from their teacher!

And you can help me by celebrate my students by helping me to obtain the cards, stamps, and markers necessary to create one of a kind birthday wishes to each of my students.

I have been sending birthday cards in the mail for a few years now. Sometimes it is the only birthday card that my students receive. I almost always get a thank you email or a hug after they receive their cards. It is a wonderful way for me to connect with the kids and for them to feel special outside of math class.
