Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will be given to each student on their birthday or half-birthday, if their birthday is in the summer. They will be combined into a small bag for them to receive on that day. This will help each student feel seen and extra special on their day.

I love seeing the huge smiles on their faces when they get to be in the spotlight, even if it's just for part of the day.

It's these moments that make all the hard days worth it! I was a student whose birthday didn't always get celebrated during the school year, so I'm hoping to help every student feel seen, no matter when they were born.
