My students are innovative, curious, and always energetic. They thrive at discovering new things on their own and love to jump into hands-on labs or projects. They come from all around the county to their STEM school; they bring experience in taking care of farm animals, urban, and suburban areas.
Each day, my students enjoy exploring new opportunities in science to investigate interesting topics to deeper their understanding.
They're resourceful, and they definitely know where to find the items they need from all of their teachers. With a variety of supplies to choose from, their creativity is strongly supported.
My Project
We are requesting miniature plants and animals, and scenery materials, to create full-fledged, realistic biomes! The materials for this project will be used to make a life-like diorama of one of the biomes founds on Earth. If this project is funded, students would have access to realistically looking materials to make their biome as accurate as possible. I'm hoping these materials will take away the unneeded stress for students to bring in supplies.
I want students to be able to visualize and have the opportunity to create a realistic biome that matches what they see in real life.
Not all students have the opportunity to visit the variety of biomes we see in different states or countries. Using these materials would give students an around-the-world tour without having to go anywhere.
