Help me give my students Biology Review Books to help them develop effective test taking strategies while make important biological connections to their daily lives and with our planet
My goal is for Living Environment / Biology Science students to have individual review books to truly help them prepare for high school level NYSED Regents exams by practicing and learning effective test taking strategies. Students will review during class while working in groups for added peer support and afford more opportunities for teacher guidance. Individual review books can be used for additional reference and independent learning.
The Living Environment Study Guide will enable students to learn at their own pace while taking a reprieve from computers with text resources readily available.
They will interact with one another in a fun learning environment while testing each other’s knowledge of many new and abstract science concepts. Answer choices, right and wrong, are clearly explained in this guide. It’s not just important to be mindful of course content, but how content is presented and how students interact with the content.
Providing each student with individual books along with supplies acquired through previous Donor Choose generosity will enable our young high school scientists to work safely in the classroom and independently. These Study Guides will reinforce Biology course content and testing skills that will transfer to other courses as they develop effective on-the-spot thinking processes demanded for success.
